Last evening, I listened to Jon Mark’s commentary on the Liverpool game. At the same time as I was watching a live youtube feed of the U18s win in the Youth Cup Quarter Finals, with the sound off. At the same time as I had the England – Windies ODI on the TV, with the sound off.

Couldn’t really follow any of them as a result, of course, rather in the way that Massina was apparently unable to follow what was going on in his area of the pitch. Maybe I’m being harsh, maybe he’d decided, in a fit of … something or other … that this was the week for some bizarre Jermaine Darlington tribute performance – almost exactly 14 years after the spectacular ineptitude of the original at QPR.

Anyway, that’s not why we’re here, I just needed to vent. This week, the secret of success was to pile on Liverpool defenders and leave Man City (and Ben Foster) well alone. Not that that stopped me, of course.

And we’ve played the 3rd Round of the WML Cup exactly what you need when you’ve selected the wrong goalkeeper and the wrong captain, but enough about me and my problems, let’s have a look shall we?
