Last minute of added time, 2-1 up at a ground we’ve never won at – what would possibly go wrong?
Ah, well, never mind. A point, a performance, and a pretty decent first start from Quina.
Anyway, were not here to think about the real world, so let’s retreat into our fantasy bubble for a short while; and if you had Kane as captain, I do mean short.
With us not playing until Monday, I must admit “other things” took over and I cannot remember much about what went on, or about it’s fantasy implications, so we better crack on and have a look at how things turned out.

My team picked up a comfortable net 58, so I make it into week 17. Gosh.
So Week 16 is done and, with 3 teams going yet again, we now have only 22 teams going into Week 17. That being the case, we are losing only the lowest scoring team from here on – already it will be finished a week early, same as last year.
Back in the real world, we have Neil Warnock’s happy go lucky band of entertainers to look forward to on Saturday. Before that, some of us will be enjoying stilted conversations with Johnno, Robbo, Nicky Wright and, who knows, Micah Hyde – yes, we really are going to party like it’s (still) 1999.
