Oh, dear – a new record low score, and it could still have been rescued.

A lot of sob stories this week – Kane went off early, I had Alfie Mawson as 3rd Sub, and Jordan Ayew’s name made a few appearances – along with his -2 points.

Let’s look at the details:

Week 30

Average Score: 40.67 (10 participants) – overall competition average 41

Highest Score: 64 – overall competition high score 122

Overall Competitors: 5,835,878 (an increase of 13,463)

Eliminated This Week:

With 18 points: Athacad (Tony Baines)
Gameweek Rank:
5,750,328
Key Selections:
Captain – Kane (Spurs) : 1=2 – successful alternatives: 0 (but there’ll be more said about this below)
8 others scored 7 between them
Bench
Astonishingly, this could have been saved.
Playing Fabianski (Swansea) : 9 along with van la Parra (Huddersfield) : 3 and Ogbanna (West Ham) : 1 instead of De Gea (Man Utd) : 2, Kelly (Crystal Palace) : -1 and Jordan Ayew (Swansea) : -2 and making captain anyone who scored 2 or more would’ve done it.

Surviving this week:

Holgate Hornets (Matthew Smith) : 32

Top Scorer:

With 64 points : Maverick Hornets (Andrew Templeman)
Gameweek Rank:
247,061
Key Selections:
Aubameyang (Arsenal) : C 9=18
Kenedy (Newcastle) : 16

And so 8 go into Week 31 – have you noticed that there are only 4 matches?

Here’s the sheet: WML_LMS_1718_WK30
