Last week’s top score was 63. This week, 65 sees a team eliminated.
It’s a fair point that, by this stage of the competition, the players are those at the top end but we have always tended to have a team that didn’t score particularly well. This week was particularly high scoring, however – even I got a rather pleasant 89 this week (Aguerro as captain). The upshot was that a score that was better than everyone managed last week was worse than everyone else this week – and that’s what counts.
Let’s have a look at the details:
Average Score: 78.17 (12 participants) – overall competition average 61
Highest Score: 98 – overall competition high score 149
Overall Competitors: 5,786,007 (an increase of 25,292)
Eliminated This Week:
With 65 points: Hi Ho Silva Lining (Lester Deeble)
Gameweek Rank: 2,535,487
Captain – Salah (Liverpool) : 13=26 – successful alternatives: 0
6 others scored 10 between them
Selecting Milivojevic (Palace) : 8 or Ogbonna (West Ham) : 6 instead of any of the 6 would have been enough.
Surviving this week:
Fairfielders (Avi Govind) : 67
What, Ford? (Graeme Ford) : 67
With 98 points : Maverick Horns (Andrew Templeman)
Gameweek Rank: 216,356
Aguerro (Man City) : C 21=42
Salah (Liverpool) : 13
Davies (Spurs) : 12
Firmino (Liverpool) : 12
11 players go into Week 28.
